KNX Weather Station – Overview
The KNX Weather Station is a self-contained outdoor device designed to measure, analyse, and transmit essential environmental data directly to the KNX bus. Equipped with integrated sensors for wind speed and direction, precipitation, temperature, humidity, brightness, solar radiation, UV levels, atmospheric pressure, and ambient light, it provides precise real-time monitoring to support intelligent building automation and environmental comfort.
Through accurate evaluation of weather conditions, the system enables fully automatic control of blinds, shutters, and sun-protection elements, including dynamic adjustment of slat position according to the sun’s azimuth and elevation across up to three façades. The integrated rain sensor with heating ensures reliable detection in all conditions, while advanced logic channels, threshold channels for external KNX sensor integration, and visualization of weather data deliver enhanced flexibility and operational intelligence.
