Luis has over 25 years of professional experience in the field and is a member of the Direção Geral de Energia e Geologia (DGEG). He is also affiliated with the Ordem dos Engenheiros (Portugal), within the Electrotechnics Division.
Additionally, he is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), United Kingdom — A membership category for professional engineers.
The IET is a globally recognised professional engineering institution, incorporated by Royal Charter and licensed by the UK Engineering Council. It accredits engineering programmes at world-renowned universities, such as Imperial College London and the University of Cambridge, among others.
